2026 Reunion Picnic

Who: SFA Chapter 38, 5th Special Forces Group, members, veterans, their families, and the broader Legion community.
What: The 2026 Reunion Group Picnic, a family-friendly gathering during Reunion / Legion Week with music, fireworks, unit swag sales, FRG support, bouncy castles, memorial trees, and activities for Soldiers, veterans, and families.
When: 1600-2130, Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Where: Gabriel Field, 2990 Indiana Ave, Fort Campbell, KY 42223.
Why: To close out Reunion / Legion Week by bringing the Legion family together for fellowship, family fun, remembrance, and celebration of the 5th Special Forces Group community.

Planning is still ongoing, and additional details will be shared as they are confirmed. Families can expect an outdoor, family-friendly group picnic with music, activities for children, opportunities to purchase unit swag, FRG participation, memorial tree recognition, and fireworks to end the evening.

The Reunion Group Picnic is designed to bring together past and present members of 5th Special Forces Group, families, and friends of the Group in a relaxed setting. It gives the Legion community time to reconnect, honor its history, support families, and celebrate the bonds built through service.
