2026 Independence Day

Who: SFA Chapter 38, 5th Special Forces Group families, Chapter 38 members, and the Legion community.
What: The Independence Day/July 4th Safehouse Fireworks Display, a family-friendly Independence Day gathering and fireworks event.
When: 1900-UTC, Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Where: SFA Chapter 38 Safehouse, 10355 Bell Station Road, Oak Grove, KY 42262
Why: To bring Soldiers, veterans, families, and the Chapter 38 community together in celebration of Independence Day while continuing the chapter’s support to 5th Group families.

Planning is still ongoing, but families can expect an outdoor, weather-permitting fireworks display and family-friendly gathering at the Safehouse.

This annual event gives SFA Chapter 38 an opportunity to bring together Soldiers, veterans, and families as we celebrate our nation’s founding. It is one of the ways the chapter continues to support and bless the 5th Special Forces Group community while honoring the freedoms and traditions that unite us.
