The Special Forces Association Chapter XXXVIII Educational Assistance Program is providing two $1000 one time scholarships.
Eligibility
Applicants must be a Chapter Member in good standing, spouse, family member, or a dependent of said member (active or deceased) who is/was in good standing. Said applicant must have been accepted by, or already attending, an accredited college, university, or vocational institute (to include post graduate students).
Application Packet
- A personal letter stating his/her educational and career plans/aspirations and the planned use of scholarship funds.
- Their most recent transcript, SAT score, and/or other evidence of scholarship achievement.
- A reference letter from a teacher, counselor, or school official.
- A summary of extra-curricular activities, non-academic achievements, and hobbies.
- A copy of acceptance letter from the institute of higher learning/technical school.
- Academic and technical applicants do not compete with each other.
